Custom, Immigration & Quarantine Complex, Desaru, Johor

Our agreement with Desaru Ferry Sdn. Bhd. is to take part in the works of a ferry terminal which was aimed to be an international gateway and Malaysia’s 16th entry point. 

The contract between Desaru Ferry Sdn. Bhd. and BA Urus Bina involves the construction of:

• One (1) Unit CIQ Complex,
• One (1) Unit Ferry Jetty,
• One (1) Unit Guard Post,
• One (1) Unit Main Switching Station (SSU),
• One (1) Unit Refuse Bin Center and Pump House,
• One (1) Unit Switch and Gen Set Room, and
• external works that include roadwork, water supply, drainage, fencing and gates, external infrastructure for M&E. 

Due to Covid MCO 1.0, the project was put on hold which negatively impact the progress of the site work however is managed to resume in late 2020 and completed by September the coming year.  The ferry terminal was launched officially on March 21st, 2022 and is expected to be a notable attraction to Malaysian tourism.
